Cancelling goods ordered online
You may cancel your order from the moment your order is placed and up to 14 days from the time you receive your order. If your order is delivered in more than one batch, the 14 days starts from when you receive the last batch. This 14 day period is the time you have to decide whether to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to actually send the goods back.

A cancellation form is available from our website. Alternatively please use the contact details on our contact page.

You will receive a refund within 14 days of either us receiving the returned goods, or you providing evidence of having returned the goods (for example, a proof of postage receipt from the post office), whichever is sooner.

To be eligible for a return and a refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. A deduction will be made from the refund if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling the goods more than was necessary. The extent to which you can handle the goods is the same as it would be if you were assessing them in a shop.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within five working days.

Late or missing refunds.
If you don’t receive a refund within 14 days please contact your bank or credit card company in the first instance as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you’ve done this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at ian@fair-grounds.org.uk.

Refunding the cost of delivery
We will refund the basic cost of getting the goods to you in the first place. Should you opt for enhanced service e.g. guaranteed next day, we will only refund the basic cost. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the unwanted item to us.

In interests of hygiene and for your protection we do not accept returns of, or refunds on, pierced earrings or jewellery sets containing earrings, or socks where packaging has been removed, unless the items are of unsatisfactory quality or unfit for purpose.

Returning faulty goods
If you receive faulty goods and wish to return them, The Consumer Contracts Regulations apply, in addition to your other legal rights.

If your goods are faulty and don’t do what they're supposed to, or don’t match the description given, you have the same consumer rights under the Sale of Goods Act as you have when buying in store. For items that are faulty you are not required to pay the cost of the return postage.
